Best places to eat cheap Pizza in London

August 23, 2022 |

When moving into a new area it’s always good to know the best places to hang out, eat, drink and for the younger ones among us where to party. Moving to London can be an amazing experience but it can also be daunting. London is so big and it has so much to offer that it can be difficult to know where to start.

To help you understand and enjoy London a little more today we will be looking at the best places in London for cheap pizza. Let’s be fair, who doesn’t love an affordable good pizza.

Pizza Union

With multiple pizza shops around London and with Pizzas starting at £4.95 we couldn’t make an ultimate pizza list without including Pizza Union.

Pizza Union specialises in Roman-style pizzas which are thin and crispy. They have pizza shops in Aldgate, Dalston, Holborn, Hoxton, Kings Cross and Spitalfields.

You can learn more by visiting their website.

Van Dough London

Van Dough is a family business in South East London that creates beautiful Neopolitan Style pizzas on a budget. With a basic 10-inch Marinara costing £6 you can eat out for cheap while enjoying one of the nicest Pizzas in London.

You can find the Van Dough Pizza Van at the Blythe Hill Tavern (SE23 1JB) on Friday Nights between 4:30 pm and 9:30 pm.

Franco Manca

I hadn’t had a Franco Manca pizza until I had moved to London and I had been missing out. Franco Manca has many locations in London so visiting their website would be the best to find a location near you.

Not all of the Franco Manco stores take bookings so be prepared to wait outside in a queue in some locations in London.

For those of you who haven’t been to Franco Manca, their pizzas are sour dough-based and pizzas start at £5.95. You can check out your local Franco Manca here.

Detroit Pizza London

If you want something a little different from sourdough pizzas and Neopolitan-style pizzas then Detroit Pizza London is that something different.

Detroit Pizza London as the name suggests specialising in Detroit-style pizzas. With regular “pies” that can feed two people starting at £9.99, it makes our list of tasty yet cheap places to eat pizza in London.

Detroit Pizza London is located in Spitalfields. You can find out more about them on their website.

Yard Sale Pizza

Once again one of my favourite Pizza restaurants in London is Yard Sale Pizza. They specialise in Neopolitan-style pizza and use all of the best ingredients to make a yummy yet cheap pizza. You can get a 12-inch pizza at Yard Sale Pizza for £8.80.

Yard Sale Pizza has multiple locations in London so visiting their site to see which one is closest to you is probably your best bet. You can visit their website here.

Homeslice London

Based on a full 20-inch pizza homeslice shouldn’t be making this list as a pizza starts at £24 at the time of writing. However, they also sell pizza by the slice. Once a full slice of a 20-inch pizza is going to be more than enough for most people and a slice will set you back £4.50, bargain.

Home Slice has multiple locations in London you can see which is the closest by checking out their reservation page.

Final thoughts

With the cost of living increasing and London generally being an expensive place to live, it’s always good to know some of the best places to eat out for cheap. Saving money is something that all of us should be doing in uncertain times and if you need to save money on storage you should talk to us. We have storage locations in East London and we offer excellent deals on storage.
